Both Yumi and I struggle a lot mentally. It could be anxiety or depression. These feelings and thoughts are uncontrollable. Feeling like people are constantly watching and judging us does not leave our minds. Through this work, we wanted to make a contrast of Vincent Van Gogh’s calming work with our thoughts. As we all know, Vincent Van Gogh did not do well mentally too. It makes us feel less alone while inspiring us to curate art as great as him.
